About SpazzieGirl

Spazzie's Story

It was 1999, I was a 29 year-old, professional web geek, and I wanted a website. So I ponied up $250 and registered SpazzieGirl.Com, but back in 1999, launching a personal website was expensive and came bundled with a shit-ton of overhead! SpazzieGirl.Com remained a dream, backed only by a domain registration. Fast forward to the year -- OMG, it’s been 18 years??? -- fuck, that was a fast couple of decades!

Wait, does this mean I’m old? Nah, 40-something is the new 30-something or some shit like that, right? Focus, Spazzie, focus! K, I'm back. 18 years later, I FINALLY have a website (thanks, Squarespace, because “you should”).

Spazzie Girl is the ever-present, hyper (intense? Emotional? Ranty?) alt-me. The me I can't always show because adulting is hard, and I'm a god-damn professional, which means I try to keep my shit together — or at least behave like I have my shit together. Some days she's my biggest fan, other days she's my biggest critic. Every day she is most definitely me. Much like myself, SpazzieGirl.Com is very much a work-in-progress.
